Wow, I haven't written a journal entry for so long. So to those who clicked on my journal because they thought I'd be hosting a giveaway or something, I'm sorry
On a side note, I think I'll be out of action for a while now. I ran the cross country today at school. Under normal circumstances, that would be okay, seeing as I've been fitting up over the past few months (I am so proud of myself), but it's just bad timing I guess. I had a soccer match yesterday, and in that one match, I gained three leg injuries. Not serious ones, but ones enough to be a pain while I was running. One busted ankle, one not-so-busted ankle and a minor hamstring injury.
The cross country course is one with many hills and dips. I had to run four kilometres (one mile is 1.6 kilometres, work that out yourself) up and down. There is one long stretch that goes downward quite steeply, closely followed by an
extremely steep uphill climb. Me, being me, I sprinted down full-force down the hill, and ended up really busting that already-busted ankle. Oh, and I should mention that I fell within a few seconds of the race starting.
So I was running with four injuries. It hurts to walk, run and sit now, and I may have a very minor back injury if the internet sources I've managed to pull up are reliable. Luckily, it's the last day of school tomorrow. I have a two-week holiday awaiting me
Unfortunately I also have double PE prac tomorrow. Probably will be out running a fair bit and I don't have a note from a physio so... And I'll be up on stepladders for another two hours after school, too. I was originally intending to train some more during the holidays, and hopefully to work on my soccer, but I guess I'll have to scrap those plans now.
On the bright side of things, the holidays leave me plenty of time to study and to work on my art :')
Okay yeah that's it don't expect anything for another 32874683276873 years.
